Photographs and a bit of news from our intinerant photographer, who was at Sebring Tuesday, February 19 for testing that included Acura, Corvette, Cadillac, and a Taylor in a prototype.
We’re told Acura will run a 12 hour simulation on Thursday. You’ll remember they did that last year and turned it into a television special. Marco Andretti is listed on Andretti Green Racing’s XM Radio ARX-01b as the 3rd driver. Intersport had its pits setup, but wasn’t seen on the track. That's Wayne Taylor’s son Ricky driving the yellow/white IMSA Lite car, an Elan Motorsports Technologies DP-02 with a 2.3l Mazda MP2 motor. Notice the black nose to tail “racing stripes” and rocker panels on the Corvettes. Former Viper entrant Michael McCann will campaign a pair of Cadillac CTS-Vs in Speed World Challenge. That's McCann's No. 16. Andy Pilgrim has signed to drive the team's No. 8 Cadillac. |
